Pure Dermatology by Dr. Kate Zibilich Holcomb and Dr. Mara Haseltine offers body sculpting in New Orleans with truSculpt® iD, a non-invasive, radio frequency procedure optimized to heat and dissolve fat with a 3D result and no visible downtime. TruSculpt iD is used in a multi-dimensional fashion to reshape problem areas, diminish fat, decrease circumference and improve definition. TruSculpt iD delivers therapeutic heat into the fat to achieve results in the shortest possible treatment time with enhanced safety and comfort.

HOW DOES TRUSCULPT iD WORK?

TruSculpt iD uses controlled, monopolar radio frequency (RF) technology to deliver targeted heating to large and small areas. RF energy passes through the skin to target the underlying fat tissue – as the fat is heated, the cells are destroyed and pass through the body naturally. Patients can expect to decrease circumference and diminish fat in areas that have been resistant to diet and exercise. Clinical studies showed an average of 24% fat reduction in just one treatment.

HOW IS TRUSCULPT ID DIFFERENT THAN OTHER BODY SCULPTING PROCEDURES?

TruSculpt iD can treat a wide range of patients who may not be a candidate for other contouring procedures due to location, skin type, fat thickness and presence of skin laxity. truSculpt iD has minimal discomfort and has been compared to a very hot stone massage. There is usually no visible downtime after the procedure and normal activity can be resumed immediately. Treatment time is dependent on the size and number areas treated but an average abdomen and flanks require 60 minutes of treatment time. One – two treatments are typically recommended and results are visible within 12 weeks.
